The video covers why we thought to put a reunion together, our vision for the event, the fabulous location with walks on the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline, sacred sites, and – for the hardier – maybe even some wild swimming in the Celtic Sea!
It’s hosted by the Emergence Foundation but this is a reunion by and for those who want to reconnect. There’s no formal agenda beyond a long weekend of reconnection, celebration, and reunion in a beautiful wild location. It’s happening on 14 – 17 June 2024, at Trefacwn (pron: Trev-acoon), Jerome’s beautiful home by the Celtic Sea in rural Pembrokeshire, Wales.
We’d love to see you in Wales in June.
– Robin Daly, Mary Adams, Steve Murphy, Shayne Newlyn, and Jerome Flynn.
Location
Trefacwn, Llanrhian, St Davids, Pembrokeshire SA62 6DP, Wales.
Weekend schedule
We’ve planned an open, flexible, and unstructured weekend to allow everyone to enjoy their time as they prefer. You’ll have the chance to catch up with old friends and take in the local scenery or if you like, explore the countryside, coastal walks, swim in the natural pond or the sea, or simply relax in the lovely surroundings of rural Pembrokeshire. For those who may be interested in what the Emergence Foundation has been up to over the past 10 years, there’ll be an optional short presentation of the foundation’s grant giving work, including a showcase of some of the amazing people who’ve benefitted from grant funding, and the impact their projects have had on so many people.
There will also be the opportunity to share your own work, project, or hear from others if you’d like to. There’s absolutely no requirement to do this, but this will be an open space that can be shaped by what you’d like to do. Nothing over the weekend is mandatory.

All food, coffee, tea and snacks will be provided from dinner on Fri 14 Jun to breakfast on Mon 17 Jun. If you have any important dietary requirements, please let us know in the pre-event questionnaire.
Financial assistance
Some people told us they’d love to come but would struggle for financial reasons. Others asked how they could help support the event, so we created what we’re calling a Pay It Forward Fund. To contribute to the fund you can buy any number of Pay It Forward Fund tickets. It’s optional and confidential. If you’d like to support the event, this is the best way, even if you can’t attend in person.
Every Pay It Forward Fund ticket purchased will contribute 50% of the cost of a Reunion ticket to help those who’ve requested financial assistance. Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the reunion steering group. Any surplus, after all requests for assistance have been met, will go toward the general expenses of the not-for-profit event.
If you’d like to request financial assistance, please let us know on the pre-event questionnaire or contact us at gro.noitadnuofecnegremenull@noinuer.
Pre-event questionnaire
In the meantime, to help us, please complete and submit a pre-event questionnaire. It will only take a minute and will help us understand if there are important travel, health, accommodation or food or requirements we need to think about.
About buying your tickets
There are two ways to secure your place:
- Pay in one go
- Pay in two installments
Let us know on the pre-event questionnaire if you need to pay in installments. We’ll send you a unique 50% discount code you can use twice only. The second payment will need to be made before the end of the day on Sun, 2 April 2024.
There are three categories of tickets to consider:
- Reunion ticket
Mandatory. Covers event entry, and fixed costs like venue hire, food etc. - Accommodation ticket
Optional. There are four accommodation types and prices to choose from. It’s all of a high standard, all bedding is included, unless you’re camping which requires you bring your own bedding. Note: All cottage accommodation is likely to be a shared room unless otherwise pre-arranged. - Pay it Forward Fund ticket
Optional, confidential and you can buy as many tickets as you like. Every Pay It Forward Fund ticket you buy will contribute 50% of the cost of a Reunion ticket of someone who would struggle to attend for financial reasons. It’s the best way to support the event, even if you can’t attend in person.
You’ll need to buy both the Reunion and Accommodation tickets unless you’re booking you’re own accommodation in the area.
We’ll keep you informed with further updates. Hopefully you can now go ahead with your travel plans.
